Chandrayaan-3 is India's latest mission to the moon, with the primary objective of showcasing the country's capability to complete a soft-landing on the lunar surface.
On August 23, 2023, Chandrayaan-3 successfully landed on the moon's south pole, making India the fourth country to achieve a soft-landing on the moon after the United States, Russia, and China.

The mission includes the Vikram rover, which is designed to explore the lunar surface and send back data to Earth.
As of the latest reports, the landing was smooth and the rover is expected to come out soon.
